Many people have pets. Pets come in different forms, sizes, and kinds. People take care of pets because of different reasons

Pets provide a constant source of comfort.They can also make people feel safe and unconditionally accepted. Pets can also be faithful servants to people.

Today, pet ave gone beyond being just faithful companions, they can now be used to heal sick.

The use of animals to help heal patients and assist in their recovery is often called pet therapy. Pet therapy or animal-assisted therapy is performed by volunteers who visits hospital patients with their trained animals.

A visiting pet has a healing effect to patients. Many patients can't help but smile and feel better when they hug a dog or stroke a cat.
